I received a call from this company for an offer that I just couldnt resist and of course like so many others I gave them my banking information. I never received a credit card from them and I just took it as a lost and said that I would never do that again. The membership was for one year and I thought that after that one year I would not have to worry about them again.
I received my bank statement a year later and there they were.ccA had deducted $149.85 from my checking account for a renewal fee, which I did not authorize. I called the company and the guy I spoke with would not allow me to speak with a manager and when I asked him for the name of the President and CEO of the company along with the address he told me that he didnt know. At that moment I hit the roof which was getting me no where.
The next day I went online to look up the company and found that there are other people out theyre that this has happened to. I have contacted my bank and notified them of this and did a stop payment. I also had to close that account and open a new account so CCA will not be able to hit my account again. My bank is now investigating this company so that they can be refunded because the bank had to refund my money since I did not authorize this transaction.
A lesson well learned for myself and I will never give out my information again. If you were like me dont let them get away with it. Fight Back!!!
