Ripoff, fraud, deceptive, would not refund money, dishonest about type of card

Was online and decided to apply for a card that could be used anywhere. They needed a card number to apply a $10.00 fee for processing.

After I got to the end of the application, there was a statement that caught my eye, which included $149.95. Under that statement, there were two boxes stating-agree or decline. Of course, immediatly my mouse went towards the decline box. Before I could get to the box, everything disappeard. It took all my info. Before I could decline.

So, I just said what the heck. I'll just try this card out. After all, it does have a $7500 credit limit. The next day, I got an e-mail from the company stating that I would receive the card within 5-7 days.

The days past and I never received the card. So, I called the company once I received my bank statement with the phone number on it (did I mention that they never gave me a number to reach them and their e-mail addresse wouldn't work?). They told me
then that it took 8 days to process they card and it was in the mail. So, I waited a few more days. When it didn't come in the mail several days later, I gave them a call again. I just wanted the card number to make some purchases since I had already paid for it.

When I spoke to the operator, I explained that I would at least like to get my number to start making purchases, she said she would gladly give me the number so I can start purchasin items off of there website. Of course my heart dropped, and I was stunned. THe application never mentioned a website for the card to be used on - it clearly stated that it could be used anywhere that a visa or mastercard could be used.

I immediately told the lady to cancel my card. She told me that she would but I could not get my money refunded until I received the card in the mail, shipped it back, they receive it, and 3-5 business days afterwards, I would receive my credit.

I waited for several more days for my card to receive in the mail. When I finally received it, I was pretty upset to think that all this time, these people have had my money and was giving me the runaround. So, I called the company and asked to speak to a manager. While I was waiting for the manager, (approximatly 10 minutes) I pulled up a web page under usacredit. I was shocked! It had several hundred peoples names listed under a complaint for this company! I started to read and found out that I was not the only person that had been SCAMMED.

When I finally reached someone in upper management, he still refused to give me back my money for several weeks. I stated to him that the card was cancelled and was no use to me but my money is. I then told him I was looking at this web page of scams with their name all over it and told him I would file a federal regulation E form with my bank if he would not refund it. He finally gave in and said he wuold give it back without the card being received but it would still take 5 days.

Why? Why 5 days? It took that company less than 24 hours to snatch MY money out of my account. Why can't I get it back now? THE MONEY IS MINE! No one should be allowed to do this. I am not the only one. Pull up the website usacredit and see all the names and scams they have pulled on all of these people who are trusting someone with their hard earned money. It is not fair to me or no one else. I am a single mother trying to make a living. I deserve my money back now! Please help me. Please do something. They have no right!
