When I got my credit report, of course the actual score was not on there, and I was told I'd have to pay $5 to receive it, which I later found out was a $5 and a $2 charge. Who knows what the $2 was for, it still hasn't been explained to me.
At this point, I'd filled out too many forms to go back, so I kept going and paid the $5. After having been lied to, I was understandably displeased with my service and decided to cancel.
To my surprise there was no where on the entire website to cancel my subscription, so I called the customer care center phone number. The recording told me that there would be a long wait to speak to a customer care assistant, but if I was just calling to cancel, I could log on to [email protected].
So, I did that and once again, there was no where to cancel. I decided to search for the website rather than just type it in and guess what I found? That's right, this entire website dedicated to rip off artists. Consumer Info. Had TONS of complaints and they all said the same thing.
So, I sent them a letter stating the above as well as this:
"I will have you know that I canceled my credit card immediately that day, so don't even attempt to charge me more for this bullshit! I've also contacted all three major credit bureau's to put a "potential Fraud" flag on my social security number, just in case you attempt to steal from me again. I'm also going to send a copy of this to Joseph Hughes (the attorney for the class action suit against you) as well as the Usa Consumer Complaints.com.
I can't believe there are companies out there that have such a blatant disregard for the law and other people. I HATE thieves!!! And I will do what ever I can to see that your company pays back every penny to all the students, teachers, elderly and hard working people that you have stolen from."
