Call Upon Yoda contest scam How can the game piece codes already be entered when they are new and unique? Could this be a Possible McDonald's Monopoly scam going on? Ripoff Internet

I entered a code I received from a brand new diet Pepsi 12-pack on the calluponyoda.com website as instructed and it came back as "code already been entered" as this was impossible since I had just opened I contacted Yahoo (apparently they are doing customer service for this Pepsi/Hasbro/Lego sponsored contest) and got a generic response say that maybe there was a flash problem and to try entering the code on their non-flash site.

Well, there was no flash problem as I received the same response as the first time I tried to enter the code, so I replied to the original response from Yahoo and again I got a similar response but with another link to try if my code wasn't "working".

This new link (http://www.yoda. Mrl. Young-america.com/bottlecapform.Asp) is for all of the consumers who seemingly can't read/enter their codes correctly and proceeds to give instructions on mailing your original sticker or cardboard game piece to them and they will determine if it's valid and then reissue you a new code.

First of all I have problems with this, number 1 being I am relinquishing my only original proof of my game piece (required to collect the $100,000 first prize - one of 10 may I add) and number 2 being that now I have to give them my personal address information in order for them to send me my "new" game piece, granted they will send me a return postage-paid sticker to send the game piece back to them but I still have to come up with a small box or padded envelope (per their instructions) and tape for the box and time to travel time to mail it back to them when they are the ones who screwed up the game pieces and/or game to begin with or maybe it is another "McDonald's Monopoly scam, an "insider" job from the company dealing with the game pieces".

I don't know why they can't give a straight answer as to why there may be duplicate game pieces - bottom line; I don't want another game piece (like I could trust another one sent to me directly from the company anyway! I'm sure that'll be a winner (sarcasm), I don't want to send my original game piece back and who knows, even if I did send it back that they'd even get it and respond in time to send me back a new game piece before the contest ended (06/30/05) anyway?

I'm sure there will be people to say "just don't play the game" or "come off it and stop griping" and what I have to say to them is this: if a company runs a contest it should be fair and just and if there is a scam going on to at least show some concern and want to get to the bottom of what's going on here as I'm sure they didn't just create that "problems reading/entering your code" webpage only for me.

Tell us that the contest has been compromised instead of sending me some canned, generic response designed to brush me off, get frustrated and then give up - who knows I could be giving up on $100,000!
