This company Topgun studios and it's owner Curtis Ellis AKA "Scooter" took money for a custom paint job for my motorcycle and never did the job.
I was told the job would take 5-7 weeks MAX to complete. Since it was a custom paint scheme it had to be paid in advance.
I paid for brand new tanks and fenders and then sent him my stock set to also have painted.
Once they were paid they would not return phone calls or emails until I threatened reporting them to the authorities.
I finally received the "new" set a year later and the paint was horrible. It was actually peeling off the tanks. I reported this to Scooter and he assured me that he would fix it.
In the meantime, he continued to give the the run-around with my second set which I have still not received.
In July it will be 2 years since he was paid! Now the website and email addresses are no longer operative and I cannot contact him at all.
I recently took the defective set to a real painter and had it fixed. He told me that it was a used set and was painted directly on top of a different paint scheme.
All totalled, I am out $2200 and a set of tanks and fenders. If anyone knows Mr Ellis' whereabouts, I have a few friends that would like to discuss this matter with him.
