Every day I travel down SR201 on my way into work, as I was heading eastbound down SR201 on 4/20/05 in the left hand lane there was a Harper gravel truck in the right lane as I approached his truck you could see that rocks were flying everywhere on to the freeway well I had no where to go I went up past the truck and recieved a huge huge rock chip on my drivers side of my windsheild, I then pulled over (still on the freeway) called 411 on my cell phone got the companys phone number called them and was given the number to a guy named Matt, well I explaned what happend and he told me that there was nothing that he would do and that i had to call an speak to Bill Todd. Well convently I got his voicemail, I explained everything that happend on the voicemail left my name my number time of the incident location of incident and oh yeah the truck #!! As I am still pulled over on the side of the road.

I finished driving to work. Not a single call or anything from the company, so thursday morning I called the company and asked to speak to Bill Todd and was treated like crap, Bill answered the phone and I told him who I was and he said " I just barely got your message and was getting ready to call you" (we all know thats crap) he told me that he would fax me a Broken windsheild claim form to fill it out and get in back to him, after receiving the fax I filled everything out and faxed it back to bill, about 3 hours later he called me and told me that his drivers logs have a diffent time on them and that it was not his truck that was on 201 when all of this happend. But wait his truck H326 was on 201 but the driver had different times on his incvoices!!! Well any one can change times on any invoice convently his times were off by 10- 15 min but yet his truck wasn't there???!!! Here is my time line 0908 rock hit my winsheild 0910 called 411 on my cell phone 0912 called Harper they sent me to matt, called back to Harper got Bill Todds voicemail left very detailed message, here is the killer part I asked him to fax me a copy of his drivers times so that I could send them to my insurance company and he told me that he would not do that. It all makes no sense why they won't fix my windsheild THEY BROKE!!! This Bill guy had the balls to tell me that if I would have been going westbound instead of eastbound he would pay to put a new windsheild in my car, sound fishy to me!!!

Oh yeah the safety reports for harper dont look very good either, and they dont have pre trip inspections for ANY of the trucks??? (DOT baby)! What do they have to cause a major accident and kill more people before they get shut down??? Or accept the fact that they are a negligent company!!!
