I just received a dishonest confirmation prize notification from SIRS sweepstakes. It clearly states on the front that I am a confirmed winner of $525,439.00. All I have to do is sign, return and ofcourse include a processing fee (sounds legitimate) of 19.95 plus 2.00 postage and handling.
However, on the back side it talks about another sweepstakes Everybody wins and states in confusing terms that this offer is to purchase a report for sweepstakes and that the consumer has infact not won any of the listed prize or cash rewards. I tried the customer service number 702-648-1837 for several hours and surprise surprise it was always busy!
I wish I had won. It would make student loans finally go away, but what a scam!
It does say you can get your money back in 60 days if you're not satisfied.
