I was informed that I could go online and request a free credit report by a car dealer.in my attempt to do so on 12/17, the site request that you key in your credit card information. However, keeping in mind that the advertisment stated "Free Credit Report". I was not able to asses the information, therefore, I tried in a total of two times after the second unsucessful try, I thought the transaction was canceled, since I could not obtain the information.
On December 27, I was checking my account and notice that CIC had debted my account. My account was overdrawn after CIC debt my account for $34.95 a fee of $5.00 plus $60.00 from my bank. A total of 99.95. I had no idea CIC was going to debt my account especially when I thought the transaction was canceled. The advertisment states "Free Credit Report".
I talked to a Jamin of CIC she hung up on me when I requested my money back and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. I did not join CIC and I want my money back, I feel that CIC is a fraud. I made a big mistake, in thinking that the credit reports were free.in addition, I do not feel I should have to pay for something that I did not receive. The report was for my daughter Taronda Gorham.
