I received a First National Card in the mail today with a $6500. Limit, good toward purchases from their C.C.A. Catalog. I knew it was a rip off, thanks to you folks and my own better judgement, so I called just to jerk their chains. I interrupted the rep as she was reading off her script and told her I'd like to see a copy of their catalog before I made a commitment. She fired back, "you'll get a catalog with your membership package". I replied, "will that be sent out after you debit my checking account for $200.?" Of course she answered "yes". I told her that I would need to see at least a sampling of what they're selling before I forked over my hard earned cash and she replied that the catalogs are only available to customers who have paid their membership fee. I ended the conversation at that point, but my advice to anyone who may still be thinking of activating their card is: DON'T. First National is definately a RIP OFF. If you have $200 to give away, I'd be happy to have it.:-)
