On December 9, I placed an order for non-prescription items. This order was MISHANDLED from the start. My credit card was charged on the 11th, and 'supposedly' the items were shipped on the 12th. I used the UPS tracking number I was given to try and track the order which was 'withheld' by the shipper for 5 days and each time the delivery date was put off until the next day.
I was told first I was going to have the package Monday, then I was told Tuesday, then I was told Wednesday. I have been 'home!" nearly the entire day, and it is after 8 pm and I still do NOT have my package! Now Drugstore.com is claiming they 'gave' my package to "Some woman!" just anybody they felt like giving it to apparently.
I am disabled, on a very fixed income and they just gave drugstore stuff that I badly need to 'someone else!!!" Consumers need to be 'warned' about this company because they are using a very unreliable and 'corrupt' shipping method. NOT only that, but their Consumer Service — or lack of — is appalling! My first email communication to them took 2 FULL DAYS to get a response from, and when I did it was 'very' condescending.
Is this a company that 'deserves' customers??? I don't think so!!! And people should use "fed ex" instead of ups — or insist on that for their packages — otherwise they may never see them at all!!!
