I was enrolled as a student at the college and was waiting for my financial aide packet 6 weeks into the semester I had received no word. I had been to the financial aide office several times in which the financial aide office personel had indicated that the loans were forth coming. That they were in fact still pending so I was lead to believe they were coming. I wasn't on-line at the time and when visiting the computer-lab I looked to see what I could find out and was shocked to find that my loans had been denied.
I was unable to pay for my education so I needed to withdraw. I was nearing the deadline for this and went to the office to terminate my enrollment for the semester only to find the office closed it was the last day for withdrawal.
I went back on the following Monday they wouldn't help me and refused to cooperate in any manner. The end result was me owing for the full semester and I feel they could've at least given me the Friday before as my withdrawel date since it was them that had kept my financial aide information from me. I don't have the money to pay them they lied to me to keep me there so as to get me to pay for the semster I couldn't attend without financial aide.
