We had a service repair guy come in today to fix our SEARS garage door opener. It needed a new cable. He charged us $300 plus a service call of $35 to replace just the cables. Called a local garage door service and they would have repaired it for $194 including the service call and would have replaced the pulleys as well as both cables. The repairman was here for 10 minutes! How much do they charge for labor?!? We trusted Sears because of the name and because we always buy our garage door openers from them. NEVER AGAIN! Cancelling my credit card!
