Complaint / review text:
My cell phone as mentioned is approximitly 7 moths old, I did a upgrade from a Nokia E63 and is under contract with cell C. I work a board in West-Africa, Guinea. Although the phone was with me but never been able to use, because of no cell C connection available at that part of the continent. My phone was selected for roaming and was used once I landed in Senegal where reception was available.
Back in SA I experience a problem, should I phone another person, there is a bad echo on that persons phone, which make's a conversation just not possible. I took the phone to the cell C shop in Klerksdorp city mall, which then reply by saying nothing is wrong with the phone...
I went home and try the phone again with the same problem. I then took the same sim card and install it in another phone, and wella no problem, so to me it looks like to be the phone.
I went back to the the cell C dealer and left the phone there for a day. After my return, they confirmed that there is a distortion on the phone, which can not be fixed and need to be send away, 2 weeks will be the waiting time period.
I have asked them to replace the phone, because I work aboard and will not except a new phone that needs to be work on. You just do not work on cell phones and repair them.
Of cause I was refused the obtion and therefor fell highly agrieved on the issue. I would like my phone to be replace by n new one, or simular. I am a cell C customer for years, and want to be treated that way!
