Damage my car then didn't pay for full repairs

I purchased the Lifetime Alignment from Firestone about 3 years ago. I recently took my car to a local store to have an alignment done. The manager proceeded to tell me that because my car is lowered that they couldn't guarantee that it would be set evenly. I asked them if it could be done within factory specifications, they told me yes. After an hour of waiting they told me my car was ready. I asked for a print out of the alignment and right there I could tell that it was not within in spec. One side of the car in the rear was 2 degrees off camper! I had other appointments on my day off, so I walked out to the car and immediately saw that they pulled my car so far up to the curb that the bumper was rolled under and the sides were pointing straight to that sky. I asked for a manager and they got the tech who then proceeded to add zip ties to the car just so I could drive home without my bumper flying off. That same day, I called the manager back and told him I was going to get an estimate done on the damages. He wanted me to drive back to the shop so they could get pictures but I couldn't drive a car with a bumper that was only be held on by 4 screws! He refused to work with me and even made the comment, "We shouldn't have even done the alignment because the cars lowered. We should just give you your money back." Well, I did get my money back for the lifetime alignment I purchased but there was still the damages to deal with. I called into the claims offices and they told me it would be 24 -48 hours before someone contacted me. Well, 3 weeks later I finally got in contact with someone and they told me they tried contacting me, but they were using my old phone number! After all was said and done, they are only covering HALF of the cost of the damages they caused. They claim that the "prior damage" on the car was the reason they are only covering half the repairs. My mounting tabs weren't broken before I took my car to them! Firestone doesn't care about the people who's cars they are working on. I work in a service department for a motorcycle dealer. If you make a mistake, and damage someones vehicle, take responsibility and fix what you broke! Don't look for the easiest way out and cause the customer more stress and loss of time from work and family life. I'm severely unhappy with the way this claim was handled and I will never visit another Firestone store.
