Horizon prolific advertiser for carpet cleaning at $6.95/room. Showed up 2 hours late, then proceeded explain levels of service. Explained I did not want or need a heavy cleaning, there were no stains, heavy traffic areas or pet odors to remove, just wanted a light basic cleaning for three rooms (there was no minimum). Was informed this process was not even as good as a Rug Doctor and really needed to upgrade to steam cleaning that "would REALLY clean." I asked if the basic clean was of no value, why would I want to pay $7/room for a worthless process then add on extra $91 for a cleaning that would "actually clean!" The response was to offer a lifetime warranty. Of course that didn't answer the question and I repeated I just wanted the basic clean. He said, and I quote "it won't do any good, you really need the steam clean." So I thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. Plainly, this is nothing short of a scam for upselling services that may not even be necessary. Of course if you need a deep clean and are willing to pay their "real" prices, I obviously can't vouch for the quality of work, but if it matches their unethical marketing, I'd be very careful!
