We have been battling with Healthcraft Cookware company and the "Knights" (owners) of Healthcraft for the scam they present as fabulous greaseless waterless cookware. They refuse to honor their lifetime guarantee under the guise that we must be cooking on "high" heat and the cookware cannot perform under high heat. They also told me: "You should have not purchased the white handles if you are going to cook on high heat". They never said that in their presentation. They sent the black handles and they did the same thing. They burned and fell right off the pans.
My husband burned his hand on the lid that was specially designed to "not" burn. They apologized but had no rebuttal. On yet another occasion, the pans started to discolor and they told me to send it in for them to clean. When it was returned, the lid and the pan looked like they had been scraped with some piece of machinery creating jagged marks in the pan. They pled ignorance. Once again, they claimed I was cooking on high heat and the pans had to be completely filled to the top to be able to utilize the waterless effect. What if we are cooking for two? These have by far been our worst purchase ever. They now refuse to honor the lifetime warranty by replacing parts and are saying there is a fee for new handles.
I have spoken to both of the "Knights"... The owners and Bob Richards in their customer service dept. There seems to be very few employees actually in the office and none willing to take responsibility for their faulty product. I paid $1,100 for the "starter set" of their cookware and am extremely dissatisfied. I have photos and letters if needed. Joy, California
