I am in the process of trying to get a house built by JIm Walter Homes. So far Mr. Leonard has done nothing but lie to us and fail to send paperwork when and where it needs to go just to get permits. I had spoken with the agent in the county where i want to build and he said that he reviewed the build permit application weeks ago.
Then I get a call from an agent stating that it was a follow up call to make sure that we had been contacted by Mr. Leonard and the construction manager. Not one person had returned any calls, despite leaving messages on cell phones, home office recorders, and work voicemail boxes. Then the agent told me she would have to go make application and payment for the health permit herself, but that they already had the build permit. HAHAHA in this county you have to have a health permit in possession before a build permit can even be issued.
H*ll i could have done it faster myself without screwing things up as badly. This saga will continue whenever we actually get to construction, though h*ll may freeze over first. Meanwhile the Bride to be and I will not have a house done when we were told it would be ready. Funny how JWH can screw us but there contract makes them not at fault for anything. I shall hire a lawyer now just in case i need him for this. More later.
