This Curt Renard and his Mickey-Mouse paving company claimed to be the best asphalt company around. There was nothing on the web to say they were good or bad.
When they got here they didn't have enough asphalt to finish my driveway, so they thinned it out so much that it didn't work right. There are gaps and cracks everywhere and Curt said "oh, dirt will just fill those in over time".
He insisted I make the check out to him personally. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that because he represented himself as being a ligitimate company. What legitimate company would have the check made out to the owner. I'll tell you ~ a tax dodger, that's who!
A few weeks after the job was completed the pebbles in the asphalt started to pop up so bad that I could brush them off with my shoes. It looks terrible. I've had other asphalt companies tell me I was ripped off bad.
This Curt character is never available to talk to on the phone and his helpers always are his gate keepers.
I've given up and just settled in the fact I got ripped off. I hope this spreads out to everyone so they don't go near this guy.
