We ordered $3300 worh of Lea furniture from Furniture USA on Feb 13th. We were told 8-12 weeks for delivery. After 12 weeks we were told that the factory was back ordered. Every 2 weeks we received a from email fom customer service saying that our order was delayed and that they'd send us a new update in 2 weeks.
We canceled our order at the end of June and were told that we would see our refund in 10 days. We never got it. Calls into our salesperson (Cathy Ruckman) and Rachel Adams in customer service as well as mutiple emails were never returned. We just filed with the NC attorney General's office.
Shortly after we canceled our orders they changed their phone systems to make it impossible to connect to anyone live. I suspect they may be on the verge of bancruptcy. Even if you call to place an order for new furniture you still can't reach anyone live. I doubt they ever even placed an order with Lea. I plan to pester them with calls / emails daily and file in small claims court if need be.
