THis is really a report on situation we managed to avoid, thanks to another reputable firm followup, but was very grateful to find a scam report on your site of this same company, which made myself and my tenants less frightened about possible asbestos dangers. This company was called by tenant to do heater duct cleaning. They arrived, found some lining torn, reported to tenant that there was asbestos thruout, exposed, and that they would have to re-do the ducts for approximately $5600.
I contacted a company with whom who I had dealt previously. They were surprised at the estimate, agreed to come out and give me their thoughts. They subsequently referred me to an inspection company who will assess and remove necessary materials. Estimated cost - $300-to $500... Something just didn't feel right, and I am glad your site was here to confirm my suspicions about this Z Duct Inc. Firm!
