This guy emailed me how much the house cost to rent. Which happened to be right in my price range and the house seemed nice and in a nice area. So i was definetly interested. So after talking to him, he emailed me an application saying he was out of town for a few years with family, originally he was trying to sell the house, but decided him and his family would be coming back in a few years. So he needed someone to take care of his house, while he was out of town. He was good, he had the house listed on a bunch of websites. Then he approved me, and told me he would send the keys when the $500 security deposit was made, which i did make then he would send the keys. So me being stupid sent the money, then he even called and told me he would have them over night Fed Exed. Then this morning after 10pm I called him asking when the keys would be here, and he said he would call Fed Ex and find out when for sure, and then called me and told me there was a delay because of computer problems: (. So I called Fed Ex and they told me they have no packages coming to my home, and without a tracking number there was nothing else they could look up, because they go by the destination address. So be careful for out of town renters. I would hate not only for someone to lose their money like I did, but to also get your hopes up on a small dream: (.
