We contracted with California solar innovations to install
Our solar system. The original quote was for a 6.5 Kw solar system, we were
Told this system would cover our needs. I told them I wanted to expand and
Wanted a system that would allow me to with a 0 bill. We settled on a 10kw
System and that this system would generate about 18,000kw annually. This system
According to online graphs will only generate 15000kw annually, 3000kw short of
Our minimum goal. When we signed the contract we were told if the system did
Not work as we were told, they would ad panels to bring the system to what we
Paid for. Ie 18000kw in addition they also installed a solar heat system for
The pool. This system is also installed improperly. They did send a crew out a
Week ago to address those issues. The crew that came out said that the solar
Electric system was not configured properly and would not generate what we were
Told it would. We have had another solar
Company come out to see what it would take to get our system up to
18000kw annually, cost to do so, $14,000
This would get me to 20,000kw with 2,000kw to expand. I was told originally that they would expand
My system if not generating the 18,000kw we needed and any electric bill we occur would be paid
For by them. So far sense the system was installed we have received a $116.00
Bill a $240.00 and a $65.00 bill. This is no ware near a 0 bill. The last email
I received from them, they said I would need to wait 2 years to see if the
System would do what they say it will do. On the very graph that they showed me
Online, clearly showed my system would only have an annual generation of
15,000kw. This is unacceptable. The only resolution would be to give us the system
We were promised, and make good on the power bills. We don't want to wait 2
Years because if they are doing business this way, they may not be in business
In 2 years. Please help us resolve this issue as we paid out of pocket $46,000
