I purchased a leather living room suite (sofa, loveseat, recliner) from Rooms to Go a little over two years ago. After paying off the furniture, I noticed the cushion on the sofa (where no one hardly ever sits) had THREE TEARS on the side of it below the seam. I noticed this when I was putting on the "leather care product" they recommend to keep the leather soft! I decided to inspect everything more closely and noticed where my husband's head rests on the recliner&THE COLOR HAD FADED!!! There is no a spot that was once "merlot" is now just plain red!
I called and they sent out a technician-he said he would write this up and get a new cushion out to us and have someone install it after we receive it. Tech said he would have to get in touch with "a color specialist" to come look at the FADED RECLINER.
I waited a few weeks and never received a cushion or phone call so I called them. I was told rather rudely from a supposed supervisor that there is nothing they will do because I did not but an exteded warranty. I asked her why she even sent out a technician and she said " as a courtsey".
Do yourself a big favor—do not buy anything from rooms to go—once it is paid for they do not care if it falls apart. This is a classic case of you pay for what you get!!!
