He was painting my house and due to his delays he didn't finish before we were leaving on vacation. I agreed to pay him in full minus $100.00 and he agreed to finish while we were gone. I would pay him the rest when we returned. He never came back to finish and would not respond to text messages and voice mail. It will cost much more than $100 to complete what he was supposed to do. Lesson learned: I should have held back more money.
He left the following work undone:
Replace wood trim on chimney & caulk
Paint chimney
Paint front door black
Paint back door
Most of the wood eaves remain to be painted
Paint remaining gutters & downspouts
Repaint gutters where original paint he applied did not stick.
