It was a Saturday evening and I was getting ready to entertain company when a van pulled into my property and a very large man stepped out. I couldn't hear what he was saying so I opened my screen door; he was mumbling something about my neighbor wanting to clean up the neiborhood. I thought to myself if my neighbor sent him; I should listen. Not the case at all; that is a line just to get himself in the door.
The person that came to my house was named Michael a.K. A Hot Sauce. He introduced himself that he was working for Sierra Solutions and would only be in town for a couple more days and then he started to clean stuff on my patio w / his solution. I kindly told Michael I had a dinner party going on and it wasn't a good time but he could come back during the day tomorrow and we would give him an opporutnity then.
Michael didn't not come on Sunday but durning the day on a work day; I was home alone and was concerned to see him in my drive. I didn't invite him in but talked to him from my screened in porch. He asked where my husband was and I said he wasn't available at the time but explained that he wasn't interested. At that very minute it's like a light switch went off; Michael was no longer the happy go lucky sales representative. He turned pure evil and proceeded to badger me from my drive way. At that minutre my hair stood up because I was alone and my house was wide open. To give you an idea how threatening his posture was; he reminded me of the black gentleman on Green Mile.
Michael started asking me if I wanted the products and when I told him no my husband does the purchasing he proceeded to yell at me from my drive. He said something about "didn't I get the stains from your carpet?" "Let me guess, you can't afford it? He was saying these things to me in a very attacking and threatening manner.
I said "Sir there is no reason to talk to me that way and you need to leave." He proceeded to yell as he got into his van and I fore warned him that I have his license plate number and that he better leaeve my property. I did call the local police to alert them of this man and they might want to stop him to let him know he's being watched.
I reached out the company but found out very quickly there is no direct contact w / anyone; you're forced to leave a message and a girl named Heather (Miss G) calls you back w / not a so nice attitude. When I asked her position she said she was customer service. I explained to Heather very nicely that I didn't mean any disrespect but I needed to speak w / upper management. At that time Heather must have the same Jekyll and Hide routine as her sales reps because her head started to spin and she told me in a very attacking manner that she was it and I would not get past her.
I hung up the phone and she continued to call me back telling me I was rude and not going to get anywhere in life. Wow... If I can save anyone from dealing w / this "company" I hope this helps. They're not an established company w / integrity. If you visited their website and take a look at their "Top People" it says it all. I'm guessing Heather's highest education was 6th grade; hence the fact shes been in the same position for 16 years.
In ending, a very valuable lesson was learned for me. I will never allow anyone to come close to my home to sell me anything; you never know who is walking up your drive. I work in an industry that checks people's backgrounds for pre-employment purposes. For all you know, these people could have major records and Sierra Solutions could care less.
