I went to Monroe Mufler and brake in 2139 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY 11554 to have an inspection done, the Store Manager Jesusito Cortez was very rude to begin with. He handed over my vehicle to his employee J. Young, who proceed to remove all the wheels, examine under the hood and every part in the car imaginable. I asked the Manager as to why he was engaged in dismantling my car to which he claimed that he was doing his job honestly and professionally, while other inspection centres do not, and occassionally have their licences revoked. As if this was a perfectly great explanation to begin with, after about an hour, he fails inspection for safety citing concerns of Brake system, Struts (shock absorbers), steering and Chassis Frame, including missing Light. This center is but a rip-off, they did not even have the courtesy to state why the car inspection had failed. They tried to rip me off trying to get me to fix everything within their line of expertise. Not only that, they were rude and arrogant and pretended to be doing me a favor trying to keep my vehicle off the road. I would avoid this center at any cost and would advise anyone against servicing their vehicle there, cause they are nothing but money hungry rip-off artists waiting to swallow every customer entering into their facility.
