I seen a mastercraft steel door in the menards ad when I went to get thr door of course they were out of that one but I was told I could drive 1 mile north or 30 mile south to get the one I wanted.
Or I could also order it and pay for it now and it would be here in three days, 2 weeks later they were still out. I decided to drive and find on at one of the other stores.
When we went to install the door I found out it was made for a 2 by 4 walls so I called menards and asked what is going on becouse most homes now are 2 by 6 walls. I was told that all there doors are 2 by 4 size but that thay have a conversion kit so that it will fit a 2 by 6 wall
but that it would cost me more money on top of the sale price. Or that they would special order me one and it would take about 2 weeks to get that one and return the one that was alredy half in my hoser with a carpenter waitng to instal it. He them proceded to tell me that that store carries 2 by 4 size doors becouse of the older homes in the neighborhood that is when I told him I drove 30 miles into a new area to get it.
There ads do not state that it will not fit a 2 by 6 stud wall only a 2 by 4 stud wall and it does not say you need a kit.
Again do not believe what menards is adverising there will be more to it by the time you are done.
