Over the past 7 years we have endured major expenses due to the bad quality workmanship of our pool buidler, Platinum Pools. We have paid for Leak Repairs every year due to losing water. The pool currently has two cracks which run all the way across the pool. The cracks appeared the first year and numerous phone calls and pleas for help went unaswered. It was always weeks before they appeared and weeks before a repair could be made. The repairs to the plaster were ugly and lasted only a month or so and the cracks continue to come back every year.
The top surface of the pool decking also has mutiple cracks. The repairs were ugly and did not match the original decking colors. We have been very disappointed and angry over the lack of response and the on-going bills we are forced to pay. We are currently trying to sell our house and have received another estimate from a new more reliable company for repairs to both the plaster, and decking of over $5,000.00. My husband and I would like to stay here in this home but we are forced to sell due to the numerous bills we have to pay out for this pool. This pool company should not be allowed to stay in business.
