If you're looking for a condo in Boca Pointe Country Club and happen to come upon this listing do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
I rented this property from the owner Michael Jarosz and upon move in after he had three months of rent in deposit, he bragged and said, "I evict people for a living." I had never heard anyone say that and it was quite unsettling.
The condo building in Promenade 1 has an elevator that is severely under safety code. It starts taking off lifting off the landing before the door closes. The emergency phone in the elevator does not work at all.
This particular condo I lived in for close to two years and at first I thought I would buy it. I paid my rent and let Michael Jarosz know that the condo has electrical shorts throughout. He ignored my request to have the re-wiring taken care of.
He had two months of rent held without interest, and I was living afraid of an electrical fire that could happen at any time. I stopped paying rent knowing the condo needed to be re-wired and was in the hospital. He filed an eviction, and I filed a motion for the court to determine the amount of rent to be paid during the electrical repairs. Apparently Jarosz has a key to both the condo and the mailbox. I never received a reply from the court, but he certainly kept to his original statement and had an eviction.
He brags about this to many people, including security guards that work on Boca Pointe property. To one Jarosz bragged that he evicted five hundred people that year. This guy does this with mal intent, strictly to profit financially. He never took care of the electrical wiring at all.
IN ADDITION to this penthouse condo being an extreme fire hazard, you can hear the neighbors pee in their bathroom, you can hear their phone ring, their television, and you can hear EVERYTHING the entire property has paper thin walls. If someone is speaking on the ground eight floors below, you can hear every word as if they are right in your living room.
Overlooking the golf course may seem nice, but the trucks come rolling out with a lot of noise around 5 AM to prepare for the golfers. The landscaping company has blowing hoses so loud I actually called the US Dept of Agriculture. They dont handle that extreme noise.
The wind on the 8th floor is extreme. I would NOT live in that condo if YOU PAID ME!
Michael Jarosz does a great job ripping people off with inferior property and an obvious kick-back scheme he has set up with his attorney who only has a P.O. Box in Fort Myers without any type of Law Firm address because there is NO law firm.
Michael Jarosz helped himself to many fine things that were my Grandmothers, specifically antique paintings its like grave robbing, more than an eviction.
Never in my life had I heard anyone intentionally evict people to profit, but this is WHAT MICHAEL JAROSZ is ALL ABOUT.
I felt that people need to be made aware of his scheme, on top of grave danger with electrical shorts throughout the condo, and no air flow in the 2nd bedroom at all, its like a sauna in there. If you offered ME money to live there I would leave skid marks. This is what I am suggesting to you if you come upon this man or any of his property. What goes around does come around, and for this he has my pity in advance.
