The Kitchen Connection was contracted to start rebuilding my magical dream but very small kitchen for me. Their presentation was of course very presentable and ample but very far from what they did when actually hired to do the job. I was promised the job will take 6-8 weeks, but it went well beyond this date. Although we had a contract but as the job progressed every step of the way they charged more for this and more for that. Every time I talked or complained about something, I had to come up with more money to fix it. Every day it was a new and a different battle or challenge. They were never on time so I always had to call and inquire who and when they’ll come. This process was so stressful that affected me giving me a bad back ache which a year later I ended up on hospital bed with a surgery & almost a nerves breakdown, throughout this process I could never get hold of David Gould (original representative) who came to my house and painted this beautiful picture on how responsive & professional everyone was (what a big lie, please DO NOT fall for this-as soon as the contract is signed, everything changes). So I was always talking to Vanessa Vazques which is supposedly a manager in the company but let me tell you I can’t blame employees to perform so poorly as the manager Vanessa, sets perfect example for them. Anyway, with all the agony, stress and ending up paying way more than what I was contracted for, they finished their job and it was suppose to be guaranteed for a year. WHAT A LIE again, it’s been less than a year now and I’ve been trying to get hold of someone there to come to my house and repair the stains/discolorations that appear here and there on the cabinets. After talking back and forth with Vanessa (the manager again) finally I was able to get a set date for the stainer (Agustine) to come to my house between 8-9am to remedy the stains. I waited for this date for three weeks. Finally the night before I tried to call to confirm next morning’s date but I could not talk to anyone (no surprise). I called numerous times to the office and left numerous messages for Vanessa but could not talk to her. Called Agustine, he picks up the phone and I know for sure I dialed the correct number and it was him at the other end of the line but once he recognized my voice, he said wrong number and hung up. Well, to no surprise he did not show up the next day (I had to cancel a doctor’s visit to accommodate this date) and despite my 20 calls, talking to different people, leaving numerous massages, for anyone who would hear me all day long, all to no avail. Vanessa and Agustine both called me and each one said he/she will call me back once they talk to another one but again NO CALL, NO SHOW. At the end I just want to add that please DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO KITCHEN CONNECTION. This company with all its employees is TERRIBLE. Bad customer service, none responsive, bunch of liars. As soon as they have the contract, they will treat you like SHIT. Even their own employees working in my house they always expressed their own unhappiness and the amount of complains they have from homeowners. Unfortunately my sister spent around 50G with these people and she had nothing but headache and disappointment just like me. So please if you’re thinking of remodling your kitchen, kitchen connection should be last people to contact. I don’t care who you talk to & what their position is (poor business conduct and customer service comes down from people on top, so you know who sets the example.
