Epair service

I contacted the above company for service on a television. It is a large flat screen tv. They told me they do no on-site service because testing equiptment is only at the office. The charge for picking up my tv is $100. Then there is a $90 fee for looking at my set. Further they could not even look at it for 10 days unless I wanted to pay an additional $25 and they could look at it the next day.

I called my son and he walked me through a few things and repaired it over the phone.

I am fortunate to have someone to call. Many people especially elderly have no recourse but to have the terrible expense, when a simple repair can be done on site.

I want you to know that these people are the only authorized repair service in this area and they are at best dishonest in their public relations.
Not only are they maximizing their costs but probably creating a whole lot more in transporting the tv set.
