Bought an MTD riding lawn mower at Homedepot. Discovered MTD makes many manufacturers present in big-box shops including Cub Cadet.
This mower was difficulty right from the start. It instantly began needing clean devices. It was a 46" device, therefore, gear alternative was significantly more difficult. The 2nd summer after purchase, the mower needed the alternative of the rotor construction, knives, all of the devices. It began cutting uneven. Devices needed to be changed over and over within the summer. Lastly, by July, the PTO Wire blew out.
Discovering components for that MTD isn't simple. Homedepot does not help the gear, and smaller mower stores do not often bring devices. Everything should be requested online and shipped by UPS. Choosing the best part numbers could be challenging—for instance, try locating the component number for that pto wire. I came across the amount lastly via a parts supplier in Mississippi.
Finally, it is a year, and also the PTO wire is mounted. Today the mower cannot manage large spring lawn. It was previously ready to complete it, but no further. Did not understand gear such as this got exhaustion.
Providing this device is challenging, obtaining components is not easy. The seller—Homedepot—is of today aid and it has plainly decreased the manufacturer and replaced the same device under another tag (Cub Cadet).
I'dnot suggest purchasing this device. I can not recommend a much better one, but nonetheless, cannot suggest this.
