I contacted Ron Mason regarding Jarrah Flooring. We came to an agreement that I supply him cash and he supply the wood on a date agreed.
When I phoned Mason about the wood I was told he didn`t have the wood. I told him that that was ok and if he returns me the money I gave him I will source the wood elsewhere as i needed to get on with my renovations. He then verbally abused me and told me to get a solicitor if I wanted my money.
I then proceeded to seek legal advice and went through the process of sending a bailiff to his house, where his sister lied to the bailiff and told him he did not live there and she did not know where he lived. My brother-in-law went to the house a few weeks later and low and behold, he answered the door, and my brother-in-law severed him the summons.
When we went to court, I was called into the court and the magistrate told me the court had recieved a call to say one of the parties had died, and it obviously was not me. We left the court and my wife remembered I still had his number, so I called him and guess who answered, yep, Mason.
We re-submitted for another hearing and this time he just did not show up, no excuses, such as death etc.
I sent the bailiff to take possesion of goods and the bailiff was told by some gentleman over the phone that Mason was over east.
I advise people not to get involved with Mason at all, but if you do, do not go through the legal process as it has no teeth. It means well but has not got the means to find information about property owned by guilty party, no right of entry, cannot find out if guilty party owns vehicle. You find yourself bashing your head against a wall.
Not a nice person STAY AWAY.
