I work for a moderately sized company and we are currently using stamps.com in conjunction with Pitney Bowes (our lease is up in a few months) to see which one works better for us. The plus side to stamps.com is definitely the cost. However if you are a larger company, it will consume more time. Our receptionist does all our mail and she usually receives them already addressed so she just has to stamp them. So previously it was much easier for her to run them thru the Pitney Bowes machine. Now she has to print out the stamps on labels and stick them on. Also she has to seal all the envelopes which PB machine would do for her. You have to buy stamps.com sheets to print the postage on and its a little pricy but no where near as much as PB labels. However, with PB she would print right on the envelope so she didn't have to use as many labels. You can use stamps.com to print on the label but it depends on your size of company. Like I said our receptionist receives the mail already addressed so for her to take out all the stuff and run it through the printer just wouldn't make sense and we might lose things that way or mix mail up so we have chosen to print all the postage on the sheet labels and she just sticks them on and seals them with a glue sealer. I have found a major issue with sending letters overseas but thats another long story.
