I don't even know where to start this rip off report. I can only speak about my experience from March 27 until February 11, these are the dates I worked there. I can tell you I came home crying because of the insanity of that horrible job. It cant even be considered a customer service job because the CEO does not give you any tools to actually give the customers support. Can we pay for a tech?"NO" Can we send the product?"NO" I can tell you that ChooseDirect.com (please remember that it is now DIRECTTOHOMEAPPLIANCES LLC) was in a horrible financial state. I can tell you customers were getting burned by their sub par hot tub. I'm using the word "WERE" because I am no longer there. But February 11 wasn't long ago. I can certainly tell you that the CEO Steve Barbarich knew of all of this. The last weeks I was there we did not have a credit card processor which means some customers sent in a check (please don't ever do this). Those checks that customers sent in meant to pay for their grills, hot tubs and fireplaces went on paying bills and making payroll. Steve Barbarich just banks on it getting busy from April and on. He feels he can order their product when it finally gets busy.

At the time ChooseDirect.com owed customers and techs money for warranty work. If they have been paid by now, I don't know. What was it that I recall he said at a meeting "Thats not a priority." Because at ChooseDirect.com what is a priority? What is it Steve? Customers getting burned, getting the wrong hot tub, selling an illegal product, not getting your product. Tell me what is a priority? I'll post this for now, I'll be back tomorrow and everyday after that to let you know the REAL DEAL at DIRECT TO HOME APPLIANCES LLC, CHOOSEDIRECT.com. Customers, you know who I am, ask me whatever you want!
