Lee Perkins and Julie Finley of Perkins Construction took part in a scheme to defraud Deck Pros, Inc. Out of more than $50,000 worth of cash, contracts, and equipment.
When they were confronted about diverting funds and contracts, they chose to contact the police and say they had been threatened with physical violence and ALMOST caused the Deck Pros owner to be arrested. However, the Deck Pros owner had recorded the interaction via his Blackberry and was not arrested.
Julie Finley began to sob in embarassment after police advised her that they would consider filing false reporting charges against her for lying to try to get the Deck Pros owner arrested.in collusion with this, two fired Deck Pros employees Todd Gatseos and Linda Allison (reported for sexual molestation - and also had her Colorado State gaming license taken away) falsely stated the owner was on steroids and had a stolen gun and was dangerous.
