I have read many Ripoff reports and still, I bought one from this builder thinking how bad could it be with a new construction which comes with one-year builder warranty? I was TOTALLY WRONG and now I deeply regret my decision. I would save more $ if I go with other reputable builders even if the purchasing price would be 20K more.in addition, I would not be so frustrated with quality of the house and THE WORST customer service.
Let me tell you, DO NOT BE LURED by the low price. With this builder, you get LESS what you paid for. This is the opinion of 9 neighbors in our block, not mine along.
As the first time home buyer, I don't know much about house. Found the location and price in my searching range and started purchasing process. The first walk through with the site manager, we found 20 obvious problems. The guy appeared very nice and did get half of the things fixed and told me it would be best to wait for the one-warranty to take care of the rest as the house was still settling so that the repair would not mask the problem. After I signed the deal and moved in, I found more problem with trim, vent system, plumbing, drywall, windows, floor, heating system, siding, carpet, and roof.
The customer service is really out of this world - the worst of all. If the site manager was trying to get you buy a house, the customer service lady was not even trying. Unreachable on the phone, voice mail or email never get answered.
Finally, all the problem was submitted before one year warranty, half of the problem either they ignored or found excuses refuse to fix, or gave it a try but could not fix. Then both site manager and customer service delay all your requests or gave run-rounds. Got totally ignored after the one year warranty ran out even though all the problems were reported several months before.
My neighbor and I filed a BBB compliant and I am in the process of suing the builder to honer its warranty.
