I purchased 3 items including a mattress. Conns (which is an appropriate name for them) came out and delivered and set up the mattress. I noticed a funny smell each time I went upstairs and finally determined that it was the mattress from Conns that is in my guest room.
The mattress smelled like MILDEW so I called the salesperson and was told that I needed to call the Customer Service Center to schedule an inspection. So I did that but kept having to reschedule since the window of time that they give means that you have to take a day off of work.
I wasted one day because the "inspector" was a no-show, no - call. Finally after 4 weeks of the disgusting smell they sent someone out at a time that fit my schedule. I thought that the person was an impartial third party but I should have known better since he was contracted by Conns.
He filed a report that said we dragged the mattress and that is why there are black spots. He is a LIAR! That mattress has been in the same place that they put it in on 04/04/09!! It was moldy when they delivered it and it has a tear that looks like when they cut the plastic off they cut the mattress.
I want a new mattress or a refund but since I can't get ALAN SHEPHERD the VP od Consumer Complaints in Beaumont to call me back I guess my only recourse is to pay for my other 2 items and not pay for the mattress,
I guarantee I will get calls then!!
