Deceptive Sales and Customer NON-Service

Part 1 - Misleading Sales Methods

We'd a TXU "broker" knock-on our doorway on the Saturday morning having a sales hype that TXU desired us back like a client.

The facts he offered were that TXU might supply several enticements to restore our company. The advantages were to incorporate a certain price for just two decades, $500. Upfront, $50. Regular for just two decades, 3% cash-back for just two years and $75. Prepaid Credit card discount using the first month statement. Offer seemed too great to become accurate but his TXU sales person logo, his handwritten records about the TXU Thanks file, and his guarantees these specifics were all accurate tempted people into accepting to change to TXU. We were also informed that people might stop the change with no price to us within xx times if we chose to achieve this. One hour following the "broker" quit we visited the TXU site to check on the facts. There we discovered that the $ weren't real money or credit but merely "Benefits Bucks" that could just be properly used for "savings" at specified providers and items. That's a far cry from real pounds and wouldn't pay us for that termination charge from our existing energy supplier. These "savings" might just be of restricted price to somebody who gives total sheet prices at resorts or complete retail value at shops. This isn't whilst the "broker" displayed.

Today comes the Component 2 - Client LOW-support

We instantly named the TXU telephone number to stop the purchase put 2 hours earlier.
