Bad, bad, bad

My wife ordered a custom painting in September from Everly with a promise we would receive it by Christmas 2008.

After making about 12 phone calls inquiring why our purchase was late, in January we finally received the picture we ordered, with no frame. After a few more phone calls we received the wrong frame, missing hardware. Since this item was a Christmas present and was already late, we decided to just pay a local framer $29.89 to add the missing hardware and sent the bill to Everly.

The first bill, in a handwritten letter, was sent by my wife in January to Everly with no response. A second letter I sent in February complaining about the situation.

Everly's response to my letter was a rude, condescending woman who called and said well all you had to do if the frame was wrong was return it. Really, how many months and phone calls would that have taken? We do have better things to do with our life than make another dozen phone calls to get the product we paid for. When I protested she said well, these things happen. These things happen when your company is run by drooling morons.

This was, without a doubt, the worst purchase experience we have ever endured. No one from Everly has apologized or expressed any concern for our satisfaction, it was like they were doing us a favor for sending us a late product with the wrong frame and missing parts.

Wrong frame, missing parts, bad attitude, bad customer service, bad, bad, bad!
