Please, run as fast as you can from this company!!!
2 years ago they snagged me with their scam "enter to win" contest at a Home Show. They called immediately and came out as soon as my schedule allowed. My modest, 11 window, house came in with their 1st bid of $36,000. When my jaw dropped they really went to work, similar to car sales.
It was slowly dropped to around $22,000 just for the front facing windows if I signed on the spot and allowed them to post their sign, bla, bla, bla.
3 hours later, I only signed because I confirmed I had 72 hours to cancel with time to get more bids... And... It was the only way to get them out of my house. The next day their sign was in front of my house, which I promptly removed to the trash.
My calls to cancel were cleverly ignored until my anger and announcement of a postmarked certified cancellation letter was announced!
4 bids later, thru a small locally owned company, I had my entire house done for $6926.36!!! That even included the kitchen garden window!
I've just heard of a 4th victim of this atrocious abomination they call Champion Windows and I pray that no one else falls prey to the biggest ripoff company I've ever encountered.
My opinion? They should be shut down, crimally charged, and be made to reimburse each person they've scammed.
PS: We DON'T live in Antartica. We DON'T need triple paned windows!
