We purchased a Lady Americana 'fluer d' lis' mattress through Comeaux Furniture in December. The mattress was delivered on the 17th of December.
Five days later I called our salesman at Comeaux to complain about it. He referred me to Comeaux's customer service department. My initial contact with them was made right after Christmas.By this time, two noticeable depressions had appeared on the surface of the mattress.
We were out of town for the first two weeks of January, and when we returned a representative of Taylor Bedding Co. Came to our residence and 'inspected' the mattress. This inspection consisted of him checking the support provided by our bed frame and then looking at the top of the mattress. The sagging that we were complaining about was disguised by the deep quilting of the mattress's surface.
On January 30, the Comeaux's customer service manager called to inform me that the inspection revealed that there was nothing wrong with our mattress, and that Comeaux Furniture intended to do nothing for us.
Our attorney has sent a letter of complaint to Comeaux Furniture, and we are waiting for a reply.
