My hot tub was under warranty and has had several in warranty claims made and processed for various pieces of equipment in the hot tub.
Recently, my hot tub caught fire due to an electrical problem. When I called the place that usually did the warranty work on it they said they could no longer do warranty work for Coast Spas. They gave me an 800 number to call. I spent three days trying to get an answer out of Coast Spas on what they were going to do to be finally told that they were not going to cover the unit under warranty. They state that the warranty covers things like pumps and electronics going bad and would replace those but it does not cover the hot tub catching fire and replacing the hot tub. I've read the warranty paperwork closely and this type of language does not exist the 'Exclusions' section.
As a result, I've had to file a claim with my insurance company. Beware of Coast Spas!
