I have been unable to get a response from the businesses listed here regarding a problem with one of their products.in August '08, I bought a batch of Pergo World Traveler Palissander flooring, which I installed in one room. I had 1.5 boxes of planks left over. The product (Pergo) installed then has been durable and scratch-resistant. Later, first of November '08, I hired a professional to install more of the same product.By the time the installation was near completion, we noticed that the wheels of the vacuum we were using scratched the newly purchased flooring. I found that all the casters swiveled freely and the wheels turned freely. Yet, the Pergo had obvious scratches. The left-over flooring from the batch I purchased in August was installed in a hallway in which we used the same vacuum. That Pergo shows no scratches at all. It appears that there is a difference in scratch resistance between the Pergo purchased in August and that purchased at the beginning of Nov. A promised call-back from the store on Nov. 8 did not occur, so my installer and I went to the store. The manager was not present. Monday, Nov. 10, the manager called and asked for some information, saying she would send a report to Pergo, and they would send someone to inspect our installation. After two e-mail reminders, to the manager, there is still no word from Pergo as of Nov. 26.
