Omni has a program to pay people $100 for sales referrals, but they are abusive and evasive when it comes time for them to pay. We referred our neighbors for a big sale of $12,000 and instead of graciously paying what they advertise as a referral fee, they gave me the run around. The owner of the company finally called me back today and told me that the referral program had ended a year ago. Even though his office staff told me the reason why there is a question is because I didn't fill out the correct paperwork.
Every time someone responded to my questions it was with a different excuse for not paying. The owner told me that he would buy me a cup of coffee the next time I made a referral and I told him that was not likely to happen. I told him that I was going to report him to the BBB and he started screaming at me asking, "Who do you think you are...". I hung up on him at that point and contacted my neighbor who is also filing a complaint with the BBB.
I am shocked that they would risk the goodwill of their business and treat their customers so badly. I want people who read this report to know that it is not ok to make false claims and it's not ok to treat customers so rudely.
