Pretends to negotiate with the IRS while scamming you out of THOUSANDS of Dollars!

Omni FInancial called us and sent us a video showing how they negotiate with the IRS and save you a lot of money by offering the IRS less to settle your tax debt.in reality, no negotiations were made by Omni Financial with the IRS. They filed a few papers to keep the IRS at bay and then when the IRS came calling the next time, Omni called us for more money (ransom) to handle it. The problem was, Omni never did anything productive. They just delayed the inevitable. Omni's whole strategy was to put two tax periods on a payment plan. They explained that the generous IRS would either forget or forgive the remaining tax periods. After finding out this was a scam I spoke to the IRS. Our agent explained to me that the IRS never forgets... That's what the computer's are for!
Omni also told us that most of their employees were ex-IRS agents with vast knowledge of the way the IRS operates and numerous contacts to assist in negotiating with the IRS. I later found out that this is completely untrue. Furthermore, our IRS agent told me that Omni's strategy for handling our debt with the IRS was doomed from the beginning. She said there is "no possible way" that Omni's so called "strategy" was going to get us out of tax debt.
Omni is very good at trying to pass the blame onto the consumer.in their response to the BBB, Omni said the reason their strategy didn't work was "my fault". Why? Because I didn't shut my business down soon enough. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the first thing Omni was "suppose" to do was officially shut down my business! They finally got around to it a year later after they ask me why the business had never been shut down and I read to them in the contract that they were suppose to handle it!
I could go on and on about this company but the main thing is PLEASE BE AWARE that all of these rip off reports were filed for a reason! Omni will ask you for a big check and they will file a couple of forms that pacify the IRS temporarily. They will set up a payment plan on one or two tax periods so it looks like they are doing something and you actually think that you have an agreement with the IRS. When the IRS starts notifying Omni that they are coming after you again, Omni will call you and demand more money. If you refuse, they will notify the IRS to start contacting you instead and you will get bombarded with letters from the IRS until you call Omni and pay their "ransom". Once paid, the IRS sends all the letters to Omni and I think they just throw them in the trash. But all the while, you think everything is ok because you don't see them. A few months goes by and Omni calls demanding another ransom payment.By now you have learned your lesson, so you pay it. The whole problem is... While you are paying Omni's ransom, penalties and interest are accruing and you are getting deeper and deeper into debt with the IRS.
Our IRS agent told us that we would have been 100 times better off to deal with them from the beginning instead of letting Omni Financial get us into this much trouble!
The only thing you will get from Omni is double-talk and pass the blame. They will not admit to being wrong in any of the cases you have read about here or anywhere else. They pay the BBB to remain in good standing. I filed a complaint with the BBB and because Omni responded, the BBB filed the case away as "resolved". Simply by responding with the same. Lame, pass the buck, double talk that they always do. And as long as they stay in good standing with the BBB, people like us will continue to be scammed every day!
