I'd written you four weeks ago or so concerning the Lennox HVAC system installed in my house on 15 July of this year. If you'd read the letter, you may recall my complaint of the handler sounding like a freight train on my roof (or something to that effect).
Since I haven't received a reply, I'm assuming Lennox has no desire to provide anything more than sub-par customer service. After all, how long does it take for a letter to get from Dallas to Ft. Worth? Incidentally, I did include my phone number.
That being said, today, 25 Aug the AC quit running altogether. That's about 41 days before your product failed. So quality is not Lennox's strong suit either.
Not much left, is there?
Here's what I'm going to do:
1) Naturally, I shall file a complaint with the BBB.
2) Being a fan of message boards and forums, and the Internet being such a powerful medium, I shall post this letter and other specifics.
3) An FYI letter shall be sent to Consumer Reports.
4) A formal written complaint shall be made to the Texas State Attorneys office. Greg Abbott is the Attorney General of Texas. I bet you already knew that, didn't you?
Noted is the fact you fail to include your email address on the Lennox Contact Us page (http://www.lennox.com/about/contact-us.Asp for you forum patrons and lurkers).
This prevents your server from bogging down and slowing Internet connections due to the overwhelming amount of complaints to the Lennox Corporation. An old but effective trick. Thank you for keeping my Internet connection moving!
Regards
