I have an LG washing machine that stopped working. The parts were under warranty but the labor was not. I spoke to a respresentative that told me that said it would cost $75 for them to come and an additional $29 an hour.
I called around and was told that it was a job that would take less than an hour. So the total should have been $104 (75 29). They charged me twice and said that since they had to come back with the part it was an $84 flat fee rate. The technician had me sign the invoice before starting work.
When I called the office the owner stated that it didn't matter to him what I was told. The transaction was done and completed and that I wouldn't get my money back. The guy hung up on me as he said there was nothing else to talk about.
