First, please check the AZ Registar of Contractors website, www.azroc.org, to see how many complaints this horrible company has. They continue to file new licenses in order to decieve the public.
My story began in Feb. We needed landscaping the front and back yards. A co-worker's husband did landscape design for Presidential Pools so we asked for his services. We loved his design and took out a home equity loan to cover the $19000 cost. A few weeks later, Presedential decided to get out of the landscaping business, and they sold our contract to Ground Scapes.
After giving Ground Scapes half of the estimate, I had difficulty getting ahold of them to ask when my project would begin. My project wasn't started until late July! The initial work was fine, and we were able to negotiate a $500 refund plus two tree for our troubles.
Two weeks after the job was completed, our yard was covered in weeds. Ground Scapes failed to treat the ground with herbicide before putting in the gravel.
We contacted the ROC, and Ground Scapes cleaned up our yard after being ordered to by the ROC mediator. Weeds sprung up again, and now we will be going to trial with this company.
Avoid at all costs!
