Initially felt confident with written estimate given by Danny. Move was ONLY from 1 mile from one neighberhood to another across street! 3 unprofessional movers showed up with a 24' truck that was already full. My home was 4 bedroom house full of furniture. Moving was to have been moving boxes and packing large furniture only in 3 hours for $395. It took these inexperienced idiots 2 trips and over 10 hours!
As soon as my husband needed to leave for work that night (because day took so long), movers immediately became threatening to me. Demanding 3 times what was originally quoted. Said did not have to honor Danny's estimate. No one from emergency line would respond. Ruined my baby's crib, scratched and damaged furniture, and held my belongings hostage! Refused to unload truck or reassemble items; so was forced to call Hillsborough County Police to get my items and have them escorted from property.
Police stated was well-known scam; and once they saw the high-end home and neighborhood moving into; likely determined then that they would try to pressure me when I was alone. Further after THROWING all of my belongings into my garage and leaving; NO follow-up from Danny ever received after fraud claim by me and my bank. Absolutely the worst. Thought I was going to have to use a weapon to defend self and property! Bunch of ex-con criminals!!! Karma is h*ll.
